Sorry, but spammers have been becoming more obnoxious.  New registrants will have to wait for me to approve them... and I have to admit to not reading my email every day.  I hope this does not cause undue inconvenience!

As a former contract programmer, it occurred to me that a computer program could be written that would have numerous advantages over the usual dichotomous key.  I have looked at a few of the items that are available on line such as the very nice offering at "http://nhc.asu.edu/lichens/Navikey/navikey.jsp".  But these lack all kinds of functionality that I wish they had.  As such, I am working on creating a program that will not only help me identify what I collect, but manage my collection, be a repository for my field notes (searchable by sample, date, location, etc.)  Is there anyone else that would like to discuss or collaborate on such a project?
